Paper Cutz Challenge/Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge

Hi everyone,

I want to give a warm welcome to my new followers and say thanks to everyone who follows my blog.

I have a couple of challenges that I am entering today, Paper Cutz and Peachy Keen, I really had a lot of fun making this L/O. I am using the Cars cart, which is one that I don't see used very often. The Paper cutz challenge wanted something made with wheels, so I thought cars would be a great cart. Peachy Keen had a sketch to follow and so I tried to incorporate both into one challenge. I have the gas tanks on pop dots so you can also add pictures on them. Here is my take on their challenges. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Paper Cutz Challenge: http://papercutzchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/paper-cutz-challenge-51.html

Post your name and a link to your creation in Mr. Linky by midnight EST, Thursday, July 29th. If you're picked by random.org as the winner, you name will be placed in the July grand prize drawing. Good luck everyone!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge: http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/pks-challenge-33-sketch.html

Our next challenge will be a sketch and our designers have whipped up some amazing projects to showcase the illustration! To play along, just make a project based on the sketch (card or layout), and link up your entry in Mr. Linky no later than Sunday, August 1st! Our designers, Kathy & I will choose one winner based on creativity, originality in use of the sketch, but there will also be one RANDOM winner! That means you have TWO chances to win!

I am sorry about not having the sketch, I haven't figured out how to put it on here....

Color Throwdown #100

Hi everyone,

This is my last challenge for this week, I am sure there will be a lot more this up and coming week. Hopefully I will be able to see some of your challenge entries!!

I made this card for Color Throwdown #100, I used the Celebrations and Paper Doll Dress up carts for this one. I made it very similar to another one of my cards, at least the same layout. This is my take on the colors for the challenge. Hope you enjoy it and have a blessed day!

Melissa

Color Throwdown: http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2010/07/color-throwdown-100_07.html

There are some rules we need everyone to be aware of today. In order to be eligible to win any of the fabulous prizes, you must ...

1. Submit a newly-created, paper-crafted creation... a card, scrapbook page, 3-D item, anything as long as it falls under the category of paper crafts and follows the specified colors. (And please, no "rainbows"... your creation must consist primarily of the specified colors.) As always, you do not have to use these exact colors... just whatever you have that is most-similar.

2. Upload your creation to your blog or other online gallery, then leave a direct link to your creation using the Inklinz widget below. A direct link means it will take us directly to your creation... not to your whole gallery, or to your blog, please. Any links that don't follow this rule will be deleted. (You may resubmit if you discover that your link was deleted for not complying.) You have until 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, July 12 to submit your entry.

My Creative Time/Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get the last of my challenges for the week. There is one for Emma at My Creative Time. http://www.creativetimeforme.com/2010/07/throwback-thursday-challenge-episode60.html She has a Throw back challenge every Thursday.. so hop on over whenever you get the chance and enter. The other challenge is Fantabulous. On my post you will see almost the same card, but if you look closely there are 2 different Giraffes, one is made with the Everyday Paper Dolls for Throwback Thursday and the other is made with Create a critter, which is the Giraffe I like better, but here is my take for both challenges...

The other Challenge is for Fantabulous Cricut: http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/search/label/Challenge%20Me%20Monday

Here is the criteria for both:

Emma: For this week's challenge, I am featuring the cartridge "Zooballoo"! This is a CUTE cartridge that not only has animals, but also has a cute font! The theme for this week is going to be an "ANIMAL" theme! So if you do Not own this cart, then you can use any "Older" cart that has an animal on it for you to use on a project of "Your" choice!

Fantabulous is another great challenge I love to enter so make sure you stop there every Monday!

Fantabulous: Challenge #17: "Creepy Crawlers" w/ Orange!

Cuttlebug/Heartstrings/I love ProMarkers/Jitterbuggin'/Peachy Keen Stamp Challenges

Hi everyone,

I just want to welcome all my followers and to say thanks for following.

Gonna get right down to business...I am entering 5 different challenges with this card. I will try to put all the links on here and the criterea for each one.
Surprisingly I only used one cart which is the Everyday Paper Dolls. I actually used a stamp this week...lol added some bling and buttons and here is my take on all the challenges.

Cuttlebug Challenge:

http://cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/be-inspired-91-doilies-and-lace.html

This week our challenge has been to incorporate the delicate threads of tatted, crocheted, knitted, eyelet lace, or even paper doilies
into cards, layouts, altered projects, or home decor.

Heartstrings:

http://heartstring-designs.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Our theme is "Fun in the Sun". We utilized stamps from our very wonderful sponsor, My Heart Stamps For You...and using our varied imaginations....made something unique and wonderful to share. But, that's not all...we also want to invite YOU to create right alongside of us. After you have hopped through all the blogs, come back here to enter our Challenge!! We would love to see what YOU can create that follows our theme. The challenge will run until July 18th...so you have a little time to get crackin'!

I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge Blog:

http://ilovepromarkers.blogspot.com/2010/07/challenge-22-distressing.html

This weeks challenge has been chosen by our DT member Sue. As I'm sure most of you will have noticed, Sue is the queen of distressing...... lol, so her theme for this challenge is 'Distressing

Jitterbuggin':

http://jitterbugginchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/sketch-8-by-sea.htm

So this week, use the sketch to create a beach themed card. Easy, peasy one.....just a few little "musts!"

Follow the sketch: substitute at will, but it must look like the sketch

Use a Cricut cut of something from the beach. Animals, flip flops, shells, whatever.......

Use red and yellow somewhere on your card.

That's it......entries are due July 14, 2010, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Top 3 will be entered into the drawing for the Sentimentals cartridge this month.

Peachy Keen Stamp:

http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/challenge-32-summer-destinations.html

For Challenge 32, we want you to create a card or layout (any size) based on your favorite summer vacation destination. You must also include one of the following three "B"'s: Buttons, Brads or Bling.

Jitterbuggin'

Hi everyone,

Just want to welcome my new followers and thanks for letting me come into your lives with creativity. I am entering the Jitterbuggin' challenge, I was waiting till the last minute I guess.... I used the Create a critter cart for this card.

Jitterbuggin' criteria is:

Sketch 7 - The Pick of the Litter - a Salute to Pets~~~
Our theme for this week is Pets - use a Cricut cut of your dog, your cat, your fish, even your snake! Whatever your pet is (or you wish it would be), add him onto this week's card!! Remember the rules:

Follow the sketch: flip it, change squares for circles, whatever, just make sure the sketch shows

Use a Cricut cut of your pet.......real or pretend!!

Add some "dots" somewhere on your card!

Paper Playtime

Hi everyone,

I am entering the Paper PLaytime challenge, it is called "IT'S A GUY THING" I thought I would use the Basket Ball cart... don't think I have ever seen anyone else use that cart before, and it was my first time actually creating a project out of it, not for sure if I like it that much, but....

Paper Playtime:

PAPER PLAYTIME CHALLENGE #6
So glad you stopped by! For Challenge #6 make a Card, Layout, 3-D Project or any other Paper Craft Project inspired by this quote, "It's A Guy Thing." You may interpret this theme any way you like. Post your direct link with InLinkz below my midnight EST on Sunday, July 11th.

This week your Paper Queen is Lisa! I love looking at Queen Lisa's scrapbook page layouts, and she's done it again with a great page! Visit her for all the juicy details for this project she's provided to inspire you.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Bitten by the Bug 2/CARDZ TV

Hello everyone,

Another challenge, what would my blog be without challenges?? I am entering 2 this time, I will have the criteria underneath with the links to the blogs if you would like to play along.

I made this card using 3 carts, Don Juan, Hello Kitty, and the Everyday Paper Dolls, I embossed the tree with Swiss Dots and used copic markers as lights. I Think it turned out OK.

Bitten by the Bug 2:

I hope everyone had a nice holiday yesterday.

You asked for it, so you get it. We had several readers ask us to use the Going Places cart. I couldn't decide which cut to use so I handed the handbook over to my 6 year old daughter. She chose the cat and dog cut. Of course she did.

I like these cuts. They're simple and quick and can be decorated easily.

I know you'll love what the designers have done with these cuts.

Please let us know in the comment section what carts you'd like to see us work with. We try to do Reader's Choice the first week of the month.

Also, don't forget to play along. Don't be shy! If you don't have the Going Places cart, use a dog or cat from any other cart. Link us up using McKlinky below so we can see your work and leave comments on it.

CARDZ TV:

For Christmas in July challenge # 1, make a Christmas card using Pink, green, red, white and black only. Post your name and a link to your card in the comment section below this video, by midnight EST, Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Only one entry per person please! The winner will be announced Thursday, July 8, 2010, and receive a Cricut "Snow Friends" cartridge. I can't wait to see your Christmas cards! Thanks for playing our first Christmas in July challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for following my blog. Love, such a strong word, but once your in love then your ready for marriage, which brings me to my card. Momo is having a challenge on "Love" and here is my take on it.

The carts I used were Wedding Marriage, and Forever Young, I embossed with Swiss Dots and Birds and Swirls, added some ribbon and a stamp.

Here is Momo's link: http://madebymomo.blogspot.com/2010/07/hi-my-blogging-friends-it-time-for.html

So here we go! This weeks challenge is to make a project of what "Love" means to you. You can also just do a "Love" themed card or layout.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a blessed day!

Paper Cutz Challenge/StuckonUSketches

Hi everyone,

I want to give a warm welcome to my all my followers, thanks for coming to my blog.

You should know by now, I am stuck on challenges...lol. I am entering 2 challenges, Paper Cutz and stuckonUSketches. Both had a July 4th theme and a sketch for one, can you guess which one???

OK, I used 3 carts for this one, Everyday Paper Dolls, From my kitchen, and Celebrations, I tried to stick to the sketch with a little twist. I will have the links to both challenges underneath this posting. Go over and join some of their challenges.

Paper Cutz:

For challenge # 48, make a card, LO or craft project for the 4th of July using a digital, hand stamped or Cricut cut image and any colors you'd like. Post your name and a link to your creation in Mr Linky by midnight EST, Thursday, July 7th. If you're picked by random.org as our winner, your name will be entered in the grand prize drawing for July. Good luck, everyone and have a wonderful, fun and safe 4th of July!

http://papercutzchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/paper-cutz-challenge-48.html

StuckOnUSketches:

This week we have another Pagemaps sketch by Becky Fleck and her staff. It would be great for those special holiday pix you are going to take .. or you can use it any ole way you choose. But the SPECIAL challenge is to incorporate the colors red, white and blue along with your sketch layout. Now, if you think you'd prefer not to do the color challenge, that's okay ... you can still link to Mr Linky if you use the sketch.

http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/2010/07/july-2-2010-sketch-red-white-and-blue.html

Thanks again for stopping by and have a blessed day!
