Cricut Cardz Challenge #111

Hi everyone,

Welcome to CCC #111, our theme for this challenge is, "Summer Fun" Make a card for any occasion using Summer as your theme, and using any cartridge(s) and any colors you'd like. I wanted to do something quick not too time consuming this week, which is just not me. Everything I make seems like it takes me a couple of hours, I am just slow like that. However this one didn't take as long and I am not for sure if I like it (think I lost my mojo) but I am posting it anyway. I think we all go through that every now and then, so we need to show that we have bad ones too!!!

Today I am using the Carousel cart for the Cotton Candy image (kinda looks like ice cream). This is a cart I haven't used much, actually there are a lot of carts I have only used once. I need to revisit those! Well I decided to use the divine swirl embossing folder for some added texture, the scallop scallop punch for the depth along with a Jelly Roll white gel pen. I also used a black one for faux stitching. I used a little Enchanting Twine from the Royal Castle Shoppe and JL Stamps.

Make sure you head over to CCC to check out the rest of the Design Team and join in on the fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

The Scrapbooking Queen Featured Designer!!!

Happy Sunday!

How is everyone doing on this bright and Sunday morning? Today I am the Featured Designer for The Scrapbooking Queen! I will be showcasing her Royal Garden Stamps and Enchanting Twine. If you haven't had the chance to stop and shop at the Royal Castle Shoppe (gasp) by all means go here! If you have been there, make sure you visit again, she has a wide selection of items for your crafting convenience.

This stamp set has to be one of my favorites, when I seen this sentiment I knew I had to create something with a dancer. I went into my cartridge stash and chose Shall We Dance for the little ballerina. Crocs Rule was perfect for the clouds and Pooh and Friends had a great set of raindrops. Put it on a tall card and watched it all come together, this little ballerina is just adorable to me!!! Here's one for you Girlia!!! ;)

Make sure to give TSQ a visit, then head on over to the Royal Castle Shoppe and pick up a few items!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #11

Hello!!!

It is time, for another challenge with Cardz TV design team. This theme will be "Anything Goes". Mary is giving us the opportunity to show off her stamps in our own way! My inspiration for this card came from you tube. While I was web surfing I ran across this video that had a wonderful fishing theme,  I just loved what she did with it. The only problem is, I don't remember who it was and it's been sometime ago now.  For this card  I am using  the sentiment Fishing you a Happy Birthday from "It's A Guy Thing" stamp set. If you don't own this set you will be able to purchase it here, along with many others too!

Now it's time to head over to Cardz TV to check out the rest of the DT. This challenge, you will have the chance to win a set of Cardz TV stamps, winner choice, but only on one condition, you will need to enter the challenge!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #10

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Cardz TV Design Team Challenge, for this challenge the theme will be "My Guy" Create a card, gift or craft project for a masculine birthday or Father's Day. I decided to do a Father's Day Card, cause it's just around the corner! I used the Old West cartridge for the hat and card shape. I also used some hemp for the rope and added some brads to get that old west affect. I am using Mary's Cardz TV Stamps for the sentiment and it's from "It's a Guy Thing" stamp set, you can pick up yours here along with a very wide selection of others.  I hope you enjoyed my card, I like how it turned out!

Head over to Cardz TV and check out the rest of the designers projects and join in the challenge, Mary will be giving away one set of her stamps winners choice!
