B'Day Party Blog Hop!!!

Hi everyone,

If you came from Jin's blog, then your on the right track, if you would like to start at the beginning then you may click here!

The day has arrived, it's Joy's Birthday!!!!! It's time for B'Day Party Blog Hop!!!!

I hope your having fun so far, I just want to start out by saying Happy Birthday Joy, I hope you enjoy your day and thanks so much for letting me be a part of it!

If you haven't noticed, on the left side of my page Joy has a new button, please visit her blog and grab the button for your blog! Also you may purchase Joy's new Yummy Pun Stamp set here, there's free shipping right now!

Onto my first project, I created this pocket card using the Straight From the Nest cartridge. The cup cake is cut at 5.45 including most of the accessories. The cup is cut at 5.9, so that I could have enough room to add pop dots and for the insert to slide. The icing is also on pop dots and I added Martha Stewart's glitter glue for a little extra bling. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Joy's Father and Son Stamp set.

For my next project, I used another one of the little boxes I purchased from Michaels out of the 1.00 bin. This one is shaped like a purse. I thought it would be really cute decorated, you could put in cards, candy, brads, trinkets etc... I also added a matching bag, created from Create a Critter cartridge. The bag image is cut at 7.00, and the layers are cut twice for the front and back panels. I just had to add the bottom and sides to make it usable. The Happy B-Day is from Lyrical Letters.

Now on to what you have been waiting for, lets be real, a blog hop isn't complete without blog candy. I will be giving away Joy's Lots of Pun Stamps sponsored by Joy!!!!

If you haven't ordered your Yummy Pun Stamps, you may do so here!

I thought it would be the perfect time for some SOUP, maybe your just not feeling to well, or you just like a nice hot bowl of your favorite soup. I made this bowl of soup using the From My Kitchen cart. I used my gypsy to create this card, the large scalloped oval is cut at 4.57 and the mat scallop is at 4.12. "Soup" is cut at 1.52 and it's also welded to the card, my bowl is cut at 18.41. I thought a little doodling would be perfect, accompanied by a ribbon and a button. Now of course my card would not be complete without Joy's stamps! The "Get Well Soon" is just perfect, it's from All Around Sentiments Stamps collection.

Don't forget to come and join in on the fun, we will be celebrating Joy's Birthday at B-Day Party Blog Hop this Saturday 2/19/11. You will definitely have to visit everyone's blog for fabulous creations and prizes!!!!!

Hi everyone,

Just want to take the time to welcome all of my new followers and say thanks so much for following my blog, I really appreciate it!

We will not be having a challenge on this week, however we did want to take the time to wish everyone a very Happy Valentine Day!!!

Onto my creation for this week, it's all about simplicity!! This card was so simply to make and not time consuming, I really enjoyed that. I used an A2 size card, and chose these birds carrying the heart from A Child's Year cart, I then cut it at 3.44. The matting is cut at 4.0 x 5.25 and embossed with Birds and Swirls. I also used "Love You" from Joy's All Around Sentiments Stamps to complete my card.

I hope this gives you a little inspiration to get the rest of those Valentine cards made.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Celebrate the Occasion #1

Hi everyone,

It is time to Celebrate the Occasion, for this week we are celebrating "Kid's Birthday". On our challenge blog, there are no limitations, whatever crafting tool you choose to use, we accept. Just as long as you keep with the theme, you may join in!!!!

For my creation this week, I choose a boy's Birthday Card. I have this cool sentiment from Joy's Father and Son Stamps which says "I'm nuts a bolt you". On the Smiley Cards cart there is a card shaped like a nut, I cut it at4.78 and the second one at 4.33, only used half of it for the matting. I then took my Robot from Birthday Cakes cart and cut it at 3.82 along with the layers. For the inside, I just used a circle punch for more writing. My patterned paper is from GCD Studios and my Grey paper is from Bazzils cardstock everything else is recollections paper.

I hope you enjoy my take on our challenge, it's now time for you to Celebrate the Occasion with us, please invite someone to join in on the fun and you may link your project here!
