Birthday Card!

Happy Friday!!!

I have just finished black Friday shopping and have purchased more cricut lite carts at a really good price too!!! Menard's had a wonderful sale 12.99, got there a little late, so they were picked over but I still did well, there were 6 I didn't have, so of course I got those!  :)

M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #35

Welcome to MAG Challenge #35, we are featuring our guest designer Sherrie at Sherrie Scraps with passion, if you have not seen her creations, you really must check her out, she great!!

Onto our challenge, this week we are using Rock Princess page 55, remember you can use the images on this page, everything else has to be embellishments!

 I decided to use just the lightning bolt, thought it would be perfect for a kids card....just looked pretty cool to me! I wanted to use lots of color and embossing. The sentiment is from Joy's Life, you can pick up your set here!  I think it turned out OK!

Design Team Thursday!

Hi everyone, 

It's time for Design Team Thursday!! I was inspired by "Aye hope you have a Great Birthday, Matey" from Joy's Life Your So Punny Stamps. I chose my image from the Rock Princess cartridge and it's cut at 4.0. The paper is from "the all about Girls stack" by DCWV,  and I added a bow to complete my project.

 I hope you have enjoyed my creation and Joy has a couple of new stamp sets out, make sure you get your order in for Barnyard Puns and Your So Punny stamp sets!!!

Celebrate the Occasin #3

Hi everyone,

Welcome back! I just loved seeing everyone's projects last week, they were all amazing!

This weeks challenge is to make " Any Occasion" project, the only criteria is that you use green, white and 1 optional color. This challenge was quite easy for me.... I just love green!!! I seen these wonderful stars on the Rock Princess cart and just knew I wanted to use them. Blue white and green would be just perfect. The sentiment "Dino-mite!" came from Joy's Life Lots of Pun Stamp set. I had some green bling, thought it would go nicely inside the embossed stars. I hope you enjoy my take on the CTO Challenge, now it's time for you to get those creative juices flowing and how about we Celebrate the Occasion! Design Team Thursday!

Hi everyone,

I just want to say Thank You Joy for that wonderful Blog Hop, you sure know how to have a party!!! I also want to Thank everyone for all of your wonderful comments, I just loved reading all of them!

Today's card is inspired by "Pawsitively Purrfect" from Joy's Lots of Pun Stamp Set. I just think this cat is so cute yet so cool with those half opened eyes....isn't it just Pawsitively Perrfect!!! The cat is from Rock Princess and it's cut at 4.25 and the matting is from Nifty Fifties and they are cut at 5.25 and 5.45. I added a button, ribbon and faux stitching to complete my card, I hope you enjoy it!

Be Mine Blog Hop!!!

Now onto to my creation, I recreated a gift box and made a matching card too. I purchased the box out of the dollar bin at Michaels and thought it would be perfect to house candy hearts. For my card I used the Queen of heart image from the Rock Princess cart, cut at 4.23 and the Smiley Cards for the face image (smiley cake) it's cut at 3.76. The patterned paper is from GCD Studios and the plain paper is from Bazzil card stock. I thought it turned out pretty cute!
