Cricut Cardz Challenge #92

Happy Wednesday!!

This weeks theme is “Hootie Halloween!”  Make a card for Halloween using an owl from any cartridge(s), and using any colors you’d like.  I  just love the many owl designs on the cricut cartridges, in the end I decided upon the Sugar and Spice owl, thought she was really cute.  The branch is from Hoot and Holler and the card base is from Gypsy wandering and welded together using the gypsy. I am using  Joy's Life, Holiday Occasion Stamps for my sentiment.

I hope this has inspired you to get your Halloween cards made for that special person and link your card to CCC, make sure you invite a friend to join in on the fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

MAG Challenge by the Page #43

Happy Friday everyone!!

Welcome to Mag Challenge #43! This week we are using the Forever Young Cartridge page 43, believe it or not, random.org picked the same number as our challenge number.... who would have thought!

Remember we can only use the images on this page, absolutely no other cricut cut images are allowed, however any other embellishments are permitted!

I hadn't used this cartridge in a while and wanted to take advantage of several different cuts. The purse is cut at 4.79 and the overlays for it are at 4.59, 4.39. 3.57. The little Lady is cut at 4.67, the emblem behind her is at 4.06. I thought embossing would look just perfect behind her so I decided upon the Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls folder. A few flowers, ribbon and bling for a little extra punch!!!

I hope you have enjoyed my creations, I am personally inviting you and your friends to come over and have some fun with us this week at Mag Challenge!!! I can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Challenges!!

Happy Wednesday!

Wow,  I had a little extra time on my hands this week and decided to enter some challenges! I am using the Gypsy Wanderings cart for my card today, I forgot how many wonderful designs that are on here. The Friends phrase is cut at 2.01x 2, so that I could use the flowers in different colors. I actually used the shoe image and cut it's at 1.23, I wanted it to have more definition! My sentiment is from Joy's life, her stamps are wonderful and she just came out with a Halloween addition too! I am really liking how this turned out and did I fail to mention my favorite color is green! I just love the combo of green and brown! I hope you enjoy it!

This card will be entered into the following challenges:

My Craft Spot - Friends are best

CCCC #30 - Gypsy Wanderings

Crafty Creations - Anything but a SQUARE

The Paper Variety - Stamp challenge

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Celebrate the Occasion #29

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Celebrate the Occasion #28!! This week we are to create a project with the subject of "Grandparents Day".

I have been wanting to make a card using the Nifty Fifties sewing machine and the subject fit well for me. I know my mom did a lot of sewing when I was growing up and I am sure her mom did as well. I just thought the sentiment would be perfect for the subject. Every stitch sewn in love, I can just imagine her now..... Miss ya grandma!

I hope you have enjoyed my card, now it's time for you to get those creative juices flowing and link your project to Celebrate the Occasion, make sure you invite a friend to join in on the fun!

I will also be entering this card into the fllowing challenges:
