M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #32

Now onto  M.A.G. Challenge #32, we are to use the Paisley Cartridge page 39, remember we can only use the images on this page, everything else has to be embellishments!
                                                        
 

I just love mushrooms so I couldn't pass this one up, it's cut at 3.0, my card is an A2 size and the mat is embossed with Distressed Stripes, my grass is with the Herringbone folder. I added some faux stitching, braiding cord, and puff stickers for embellishments.

Design Team Thursday!!!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Design Team Thursday, this weeks inspiration will be 4th of July related. The cartridge I am using this week is Stand and Salute, I found this wonderful cut of the Liberty bell and it's cut at 3.29, it is on an A2 size card. I have one of my mats embossed with Stars, thought it fit the Occasion. I used my star punch by EK Success for my white stars and they are  placed in the embossed stars with buttons to add extra dimension. "Celebrate" is from Joy's Life Your So Puny Stamp Set! Thought it turned out pretty good!

I will also be entering this card into Whimsical Wednesday!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #80

Hi everyone,

This week at Cricut Cardz Challenge, we are to create a red, white and blue card with a flag, you may use any cartridge!! I will be using A Child's Year and my image is cut at 3.00, I put it on an A2 size card and embossed my mats to imitate a flag, I also added faux stitching  and a ribbon just to add a little detail!

Celebrate the Occasion!!!!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Celebrate the Occasion #19, our challenge this week is to create a project with the theme of Celebrating Summer (Must have a Sun). I will be using Wall Decor and More and Simply Charmed carts this week. The sun is cut at 1.22 and the rooster is at 3.39. I am so proud of myself, all my papers are from my scrap bin. My sentiment is from Joy's Life the Barnyard Puns Stamp set. This is a card that I really struggled with and don't know what to think about it, however, I hope you enjoy it and it gives you some inspiration to join in on the fun at Celebrate the Occasion, make sure you invite a friend!

M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #31

Hi everyone,

We are having a Design Team Call for M.A.G. Challenge, so if you are ready to get your creativity on, make sure you stop by and get your submissions in....we want YOU!

 M.A.G. Challenge #31, this week we are to make a project using the Pagoda cartridge page 52, remember we can only use the images on this page, everything else has to be embellishments!!

 
 I was trying my best this week to only use from my scrap bin and I did very well!! I was able to make this complete card!!! Only the buttons and the braiding cord were new items!!  I am using the Tag feature for my card, there is a green mat embossed with the Swiss Dots behind the image. The larger mat is embossed with Vines by Quickutz. (Thanks Mee Mee!!) The sentiment is from Joy's Life "Your So Punny Stamps. This was a very simply card for me this week, I hope you enjoy it!

Design Team Thursday!!!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Design Team Thursday, this week we are celebrating that Father figure in our lives. I was asked by one of my my co-workers to create a Father's Day card with a Fisherman and so her is my take on her card.

 I am using the Smiley Card and Everyday Paper Dolls. The fishing pole is cut at 2.32 and the fisherman is at 3.23, the bag is cut at 4.41. My sentiment is from Joy's Life Father and Son Stamp set, thought it would be the perfect for the occasion.

Onto my projects, I made 3x3 Invitation and Thank You cards. I thought it would be nice to have a party favor as well, so I made a frame/wall decor. I had intentions on doing a video, but chickened out!! lol. The cartridge I used was Stand and Salute, they have some wonderful frames.

I will be using the hat and face image!  This week I have made a Sliding Pop Up Card and you may visit the tutorial here! My Cowboy face is cut at 3.93, all papers are from  my scrap bin!!! I also used Tim Holtz Wood grain  and Cuttlebug Herringbone embossing folders! The Stamps are from Joy's life.

Welcome to Design Team Thursday!! I was inspired by "to one of my favorite peeps" from Joy's Barnyard Puns Stamps. I am using Smiley Cards and Straight from the Nest cartridges. The card is cut at 3.22 and the owl is cut at 1.66. The paper I am using is from Heidi Grace Designs (birds) and the pink is from my scraps.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #78

This weeks challenge is to make a card with a "Wedding" theme using any colors and any cartridge. I will be using Wedding and Storybook cartridges. My cake is cut at 2.52 and the scalloped mat is cut at 3.00. I am using an A2 card base. I added a ribbon and Martha Stewart's Glitter glue. I hope you have enjoyed my card for this week.

Celebrate the Occasion #17

Hi everyone,

Just want to take the time to welcome all of my new followers and say, thanks so much for following my blog, I really appreciate it!

Now onto today's post, we are to create a Father's day project, I love to make cards and so I did. I am using Designer's Calendar and Nifty Fifties cartridges. The Tie is cut at 4.56 and the mat is at 5.00. I added a button to the collar to make it more realistic. The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye, the black paper is Recollections, everything else is from my scrap bin.

POOL PARTY BLOG HOP!!!

The time has finally arrived!!! Are you ready to have a fabulous POOL PARTY? Everyone is invited!! Now onto my project, I created a "Surprise Pop Up Card" you can find the instructions here! I am using Everyday Paper Dolls and my little lady is cut at 3.46. The patterned paper is from DCWV and the plain paper is from Bazzil. I added some ribbon and a button to my pull tag, which can be used for a sentiment and you can also write in the inside of the card. Popping by to say "HI" is from Joy's life Your so Puny Stamps, I love how this turned out I hope you do too!
