M.A.G. Challenge by the Page # 11

On to the challenge for this week, Tags Bags Boxes and More page 130. OMG, I really really had a hard time on this challenge, when I seen what we had to use, I thought what am I gonna do with this? We can only use the images from this page, oh boy. At the end of the day, 8 nut cups later...lol, this is what I came up with. I thought the cups would be perfect for little storage containers, each one is cut at 4.0, I wanted to color coordinate my containers as well as the embellishments, added ribbon and buttons to complete my project.

Welcome to another Design Team Thursday!!

I made an A2 size card this week using the A Child's Year Cart. I thought the little boy and dog was just the perfect image for the sentiment " Best Buddies" from Joy's Father & Son Stamps. I cut the image at 3.25 as well as the shadow, the matting is cut at 4.61. I added some faux stitching and brads. I hope you enjoy this weeks card using Joy's stamps!!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #58

Hi everyone,

Just want to take the time to welcome all of my new followers and say thanks so much for following my blog, I really appreciate it! Within the next week I will be posting for two giveaways, one for my 100 followers and the other for 200 followers. Make sure you stop back by!!

Our challenge this week was to make a Snowman, any cart, any colors. This A2 size card is made from A Child's year cart, what I like about this cart is that there isn't much to do, you have your base and shadow feature and that's it!! I went into my scrap bin and chose all of my papers. I do know that the brown card stock is Bazzil paper. everything else is up in the air. The snowman is cut at3.25 along with the shadow, the mat is cut at 4x 5.25 and it is embossed with Swiss Dots. I added some ribbon, button, hemp and the sentiment "Boys will be boys " is from the Father & Son Stamp by Joy's Life, another challenge complete.

M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #10

Hi everyone,

We have a guest designer this week, Nicole from Creative Delights by Nicole, has put together a wonderful project using vinyl, you really must check out her blog!!

Our challenge this week is from the Storybook cart page 69. I chose the oval scallop, one is cut at 7.35 and the other is cut at 6.17 (Gypsy). I had to result to my sticker stash, because we can only use the images on this page, found 2 birds and a heart, thought it would be perfect since Valentines Day will be soon approaching, added some ribbon, embossed with Swiss Dots and some doodling, another challenge complete.

Design Team Thursday

Hi everyone,

I am so excited, I was one of 8 crafters selected to be on Joy's Life Design team. Joy is one person I have admired and to be designing for her leaves me in awe....

Joy has put together some wonderful stamp sets. I am using Joy's All Around Sentiments and Lot's of Pun Stamps for my project. This is an A2 size card, my matting is cut at 4.25 x 5.25, 3.75 x 5 and 3 7/8 x 4 5/8. I used the seal from Birthday Cakes cartridge, it's cut at 3.9 (Gypsy) and embossed with Swiss Dots. The "Hearts" from Lots of Pun fit perfectly in the ball!! The "Love You" stamp added just the right touch to finish the card.

M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #9

Hi everyone,

I just want to give a warm welcome to all of my new followers and say thanks so much for following my blog, I really appreciate it, more than you know!

Now on to the M.A.G Challenge, have we got a fun challenge this week. We are using the Pagoda cart page 36,
remember to use only the images on this page, we also added a twist this week, you have to have an accordion fold project. You may pick up the tutorial at M.A.G. For my project I used the Kanji Word Function to create the base card, and I put black glitter paper behind" FRIEND" the Panda's are cut at 3.5, 3.00 and 2.5, I also wanted to make them to look as if they were in their on habitat, so I took some branches off of my evergreen trees, the sentiment is from Joy's Life "Lots of Pun Stamps" I think it turned out OK!!

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 56

Hi everyone,

I want to take the time to welcome all of my new followers and say thanks so much for following my blog, I really do appreciate it!!!

Happy New Year to all of you!!! For this weeks challenge we are to create a New Year's theme card with a "Clock image" any cartridge any color you'd like. I was really stomped on this one, for days I tried to think of something. I created so many cards in my gypsy, until I finally decided to go with this one, once I did that, it seemed like everything just clicked right into place. I chose the top hat from the Create a Critter cart, cut it at 15.52 (gypsy) added my clock, streamers and bow tie from the wild card cart, the numbers are from the Printing Press. I made the lapel by using a 2" square cut it in half and used a punch for the buttons. I thought this would go well on an easel card, using the hat to house the clock. Think it turned out pretty good!

I hope this gives you a little inspirations to still celebrate the New Year with a card, make sure you invite your friends to join in on the fun!
