Design Team Thursday!!!

                                                                                   
Hi everyone,

Just want to take the time to welcome all of my new followers and say thanks so much for following my blog!!
 
It's now time for Design Team Thursday! This week we were to create a project with a "Summer Time" theme, I was inspired by Joy's "I'd love to SEA you!" on her Lots of Pun Stamps. I chose the lighthouse and waves from Wall Decor and More cartridge. I thought this would be the perfect image for a tall card which measure 4x9 and it fits into a standard size business envelope. The lighthouse is cut at 5.95, the waves are at .71. The moon is from Disney's Pooh and Friends and it's cut at 1.15. The black paper is from Recollections and the rest of my papers are from my scrap stash. I really love the look of this card and already have a request to make 2 for one of my clients!

M.A.G. Challenge by the Page # 26

 

Hi everyone,

Sorry about the late post for M.A.G. Challenge by the Page, as you probably know, they were doing maintenance on the blogger yesterday and we were unable to post. M.A.G. Challenge should be up and running a little later!!! 

This week we are using the Hello Kitty Cartridge page #73 

 Remember you can only use the images on this page!!

I didn't want to make a Christmas card so I went with the "shadow and blackout features" and used it

as a stand for my die cut cow! I cut the stand image at 1.10 for both features, I also used a punch for the circle. My black paper is from Recollections and everything else is from my scrap bin. I added some hemp, buttons and faux stitching to complete my project. I just love this little cow!!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #74

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Cricut Cardz challenge #74, our challenge this week is to create a card with the theme "New Baby" using any cartridge and any colors! I am using the onsie off of the  Wall Decor and More cartridge and it is cut at 4.0. I also used Martha Stewart's glitter glue to enhance the color. The paper with the dots is from  DCWV, Dots Stripes and Plaids, all other papers are from Recollections. My sentiment is from Joy's Father and Son Stamp set, and my buttons are from Walmart.

Celebrate the Occasion # 13

Hi everyone,

Time for Celebrate the Occasion #13, our challenge this week is to create a project that has to do with  a  Wedding and it must have a ribbon! I decided to go with the Wedding Cake from Paper Doll Dress up and my scallop circle is from Storybook, I also used a punch and faux stitching to enhance the look. On the wedding cake I used Martha Stewart glitter glue, all papers are from my scrap bin!!!!

M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #25

                                     Hi everyone,
Welcome to MAG Challenge by the Page, for this week we are using Graphically Speaking cartridge page 57. Remember we can only use the images on this page, everything else has to be embellishments!!

I went with the butterfly and made it into a shape card. I used the shadow feature and then added the layers, everything is cut at 5.43. I also used Martha Stewart's glitter glue (love it) and added these little pom pom balls to the antennas. My paper is from GCD Studio's and Recollections. "Cute as a bug!" is from Joy's Life Lots of  Pun stamps!

Design Team Thursday!!!

Hi everyone,

It's now time for Design Team Thursday!! I decided to make a 5 x 5 card base, my butterfly is from Paper Dolls for Everyday and it's cut at 4.86. I used a circle punch and added a flourish stamp. I also added a border punch,  bling and flowers. My "Love you" is from Joy's All Around Sentiments.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation and this inspires you to create your Mother's Day cards!
