Celebrate the Occasion #5

Hi everyone,

This week I am using Paper Doll Dress Up, Stamping and Celebrations cartridges. I cut the base of my card at 5.37 and welded it together with the gypsy. The mat is cut at 5.37 and embossed with Spots and Dots. The baby sheep is cut at 4.43 and it's embossed with Swiss Dots. Little one is cut at 1.02. I used DCWV, Recollections cardstock added a ribbon, button and hemp to complete my card. I hope you enjoy my creation, now it's time for you to get your creative juices flowing and link you project here and please invite someone to join in on the fun!

Challenges!

Hi everyone,

Just want to take the time to welcome all of my new followers and thanks so much for following my blog, I really appreciate it!

My card today is made from A Child's Year cart, the beach theme is cut at 3.22 and the star fish are cut at 1.00 and 1.30 welded together. I used Reccollections, Bazzil and my stash of papers to create this card. Of course my card isn't complete without a Joy's life stamp, I'd love to Sea you! is from Lots of Pun Stamp set. I just love how this turned out.

Don't you have some days that you wish you could just take off work and go to the beach? I will be entering this card into Scrapbookaholic by Abby Challenge #1 National Goof off Day! (22) as well as CCCC (Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge) which is to use Life's a Beach cart. If you don't have it you may choose a similar one! Crafty Cardmakers you have to have fabric.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #17

Hi everyone,

Just want to take the time to welcome all of my followers and say thanks so much for following my blog, I really appreciate it!

Today at M.A.G. Challenge , we are challenging you to get those creative juices flowing!

We are working with From my kitchen cart page 60, remember to use only the images on this page, everything else has to be embellishments! I chose the "dinner oval" for invitations! I welded the base of the recipe card to the oval using my gypsy and it's cut at 2.06 (recipe card base) and the Oval is cut at 1.89, I put the dinner oval on pop dots for the pocket card holder. The pocket holder is cut at 2.00 x 3.50. My paper is from DCWV and paper stash. I added some ribbon and my challenge is complete!

I hope you enjoy my take on our challenge, thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Design Team Thursday!

Hi everyone,

Just want to take the time to say welcome to all of my new followers and thanks so much for following my blog, I really appreciate it!

Today's card is inspired by "Hot Dog! and the paw print" from Joy's Lots of Pun Stamps. On the Paisley cartridge, there are two cute little dogs, I chose the one with the hula hoop. The sentiment and paw fit perfectly. The card base is cut at 4.5 x 5.5, the mat is from Nifty Fifties and it is embossed with Spots and Dots by Cuttle Bug. My little dog is cut at 4.04. including all the accessories. Patterned Paper is from DCWV, blue paper is from Recollection and the rest is from my paper stash. I hope you enjoy my little dog, he's so cute to me!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Challenges

Hi everyone,

I made this card from Stretch Your Imagination cart. I used the Card Frame feature cut at 6.70 and welded spring in the middle and it's cut at 1.81. I thought the flowers were just the perfect design to represent the word spring! I used Martha Stewart's glitter glue for that extra sparkle. Birds and Swirls embossing for that extra texture. I hope you like my take on these challenges!

WE are using the Pooh and Friends Cartridge page 43, remember we can only use the images on this page! I wanted my card to be really simple this week, but still have some class!!! I went with the single apple and just enlarged it to 9.41 . I embossed the leaves for texture added ribbon and a button. The sentiment is from Joy's Life All Around Sentiments Stamps thought this would be just perfect. I hope you enjoy my take on our challenge. If you craft Spring maybe it will happen... gees there is still snow here...lol, if it were only that easy!

Today's project is from the Pooh and Friends cartridge, I used the Rabbit and he is cut at 5.22 and also the fence and it's cut at 2.63. The Flower Shower Spring Stack from DCWV has this really nice paper with glittered flowers, I thought it would bring a little spring into my life!! For the clouds I used recollection brads and of course I needed my sentiment, POPPING by to say, "HI!" from Joy's Yummy Pun Stamp Set thought it would be perfect. Isn't he just adorable!

Create a Book Blog Hop!!!

Hi everyone, welcome to Create a Book Blog Hop!!!

If you have arrived from talented Jin, then your in the right place, if you happened upon me by accident and would like to start at the beginning, then you a may start at Joy's Life!

Read Across America Day , I am so thrilled to participate in this hop with such talented ladies! Hopefully this will inspire you to get out those books and read or create one!

Now onto my book, it measures 5.00 x 9.00. I created it with my daughter in mind. She writes such lovely poems! (Sorry the writing isn't too visible, it's purposely done.) I put in several poems with room for more!!! The front cover is created using A Child's Year cart. The child reader is cut at 5.00, the monogrammed letters are at 1.22 and the smaller shadow is cut at 1.18 (created with gypsy) I think it turned out beautiful considering, I changed my mind from the recipe book I had already started. This took me just about 2 hours to create...maybe a little less.

I hope you enjoyed my project , your next stop is Amanda, she is such an amazing crafter!

Oh don't leave, lets face it, a blog hop isn't a blog hop without blog candy!

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 64

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to another Cricut Cardz Challenge. We are doing things just a little differently , we have incorporated bookmarks this week!! So you can put them on a card or just by themselves. You may use any color and any cartridge you would like.

No onto my bookmark, I used Straight from the Nest cart. I thought the corner images would do well for a book mark. I just put it on pop dots and added the blackout feature and it worked perfectly! My book mark is cut at 3.21, I also used Martha Stewart's Glue for the peacocks feathers, I think it turned out pretty nice! I hope you enjoy my take on this challenge, now it's time for you to get those creative juices flowing and make sure you invite a friend to join in on the challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!
